		<description>Thanks. I was just curious because I also remember that at the time I read that Borland filed for a patent on the thing... and this would appear to pretty much be the same. (And C# won't work for Win32 code either &#60;g&#62;.)&lt;br&gt;

		<description>Yes, Delphi's helper objects do allow you to add new methods to existing classes; that's how you get things like .Free for .NET classes. They're not recommended for your own use, though, and I have no idea whether they work for Win32 code.
