		<description>Part 1:&lt;br&gt;Every time I lead an intro workshop on covenant groups (a.k.a. small group ministry) people want to continue meeting in their demo groups. This has happened so much that I've started to suggest that groups be prepared to address this need with some form of program or group series to hold people over until the formal launch of the program.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Part 2:&lt;br&gt;Last year at our General Assembly conference I turned on the hotel tv while ironing. Joel Osteen was on.  I was blown away by how well he weaves positive pscholology, affirmations, etc... into his talks. I watch his program now just to pick up tips on guest speaking.  You are right, most of what he is talking about would make great covenant group material.
